Tbilisi kindergarten questions? Honest answers for families

We are always open to dialogue — and have already prepared a few answers. Didn't find yours? Just ask: we reply within one working day.

How do we join Kids Space?

We enrol after an informal interview. There are no entrance tests — because it matters to us that the family chooses us, not the other way around. Instead of tests: meeting the family and a trial week at the start.

What documents are needed to enrol?

A passport for the parent and a birth certificate for the child.

From what age do you accept children?

Children usually join us at 4, once they manage most self-care skills. Our programs are designed for children aged 3 to 7.

What languages are classes held in?

In Russian and English, including ART in English.

What are the working hours?

Current working hours are listed on the contact page. If you need different times, ask — we'll tell you honestly what's possible.

How big are the groups?

Preschool groups have at most 12 children. Two teachers work with each group — one adult per 5–6 children.

How does adaptation work?

Gently. A parent can stay in the space for as long as the child needs and the parent feels comfortable. We start with a trial week and follow the child's pace.

Is food provided?

Yes, children eat together at the kindergarten. We discuss the menu, allergies and restrictions with each family individually.

Is there something for parents?

Parents are essential members of our community. We give every family detailed feedback, and hold family festivals, fairs, breakfasts with parents and family hikes.

Are camps separate from the kindergarten?

Yes. Camps and excursions are standalone seasonal programs open to all children — PLAYschool enrollment is not required.
